It's 3am. Ok, 2:58am. I can't sleep. For one, I can't stop coughing when I lie down. I tried bringing my blanket/pillow into the living room and sleeping in the big chair in a more upright position but it isn't helping. So, I gave it up and decided to just get up. So here I am with Tecas and a cup of tea with honey typing in the silence of a 3am household. The clock seems to be ticking abnormally loud. The clicklng of the keys on my laptop does as well. It's snowing lightly outside and the air has that super still feeling that only winter has. If I wasn't feeling so poorly it would be ok. Instead, I cough and am alone with my thoughts and they are taking over. Propositioning me with all of the things I need to fix, get done, take care of. And I can't do any of it at 3am.
Ok, the post subject is far more clever and amusing than today's video will be. Sorry, I just had to get something to grab your attention. What you'll see in this video is my cat, Tecas, pretty much annihilating a Santa toy I got her. I could never bring myself to throw the dumb thing away and she beat it up until there was only a shred of beard left. R.I.P. Santa.
