I never got around to posting photos of my fabulous sushi. Then, it occured to me, "Hey, I'm bored and I have 45 minutes left to kill here so why don't I post those sushi pics." And so, here they are. The pics are a little small but you can click them to see a better size if you like. First, I got all the things prepped so I could just sit down and start rolling. While you could certainly use whatever you like, for the filling I chose a combo of Tamago (sweet egg), crab, and avocado just because that's what I had on hand! Oh, and of course, I made sushi rice first. The next two photos are my little "rolls" in their pre-roll state. I have a little sushi rolling mat which made it pretty easy to roll the little buggers up. Last is the final product! I thought they turned out quite well for my first time. With only the one batch of sushi rice I think I got three rolls out of it. Next time I will def. make more rice so I have more to eat! Oh, and to be oh so suave, I topped them off with a little sesame seed. Yum.
